Too much heat can be a "death blow" to your hair follicles and lead to breakage, split ends, and your strands can lose their natural shine. Brand ambassador Jane Nashe gives her tips on how to protect your hair from heat, when styling.
Tresemme Protection Heat Defense Styling Spray
This is a water based so it, does leave my hair feeling soft and silky. Also, it works well with my 4C hair. I do not usually blow dry my hair but if I do I make sure my hair is freshly washed, has a leave in conditioner then followed by this spray.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum
This works so well on my hair. I use the Tresemme spray mentioned above before applying this serum. This serum leaves my hair manageable without frizz and doesn't leave my hair too dry either.
This is another good heat protectant too. This oil is super effective, smells nice and leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. Natural hair is very fragile, so I make sure my hair is well protected before styling it with heat. I do not straighten my hair at all, but these products work well when I blow dry my hair.
